The Abnormal Smear and Colposcopy Unit (ABSU) was founded in 1997 to provide a friendly, timely and professional service where women with abnormal smears or symptoms or signs suggestive ofgynaecological cancer or precancer can be investigated. Continuity of care and quick resolution of the anxiety associated with these problems are the mainstay of our philosophy.
